Today I renewed my library card. It’s been over two years since I have used it. Why on earth have I let it go so long?! Hmmm. I just don’t know. Honestly, I have no idea. I am a person who loves books and absolutely loves reading. There is no excuse for not going to the library. I’ve been reading all this time, but I have been buying books and/or borrowing from friends. Well, with the tight economic times, I figured I needed a better solution. And, what better solution than the library?! All the books I could ever read and they’re free. So cool!! Of course I’ll still purchase books now and then, but I’m really happy to be a renewed member of the library again. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to join your local public library. Let your kids join too. 🙂 Libraries rock!
We’ve been going every Saturday – Eli loves it 🙂 They even have some of the new stuff every once in a while, too!

PS. You can even do stuff on line like renew and request books so you don’t have to waste time looking for the books you want. Also they will find the newer ones for you too!
